Made to Measure is Nevermourn’s recommended approach to individual fit. Where offered, an existing House design is created to your measurements at no additional charge.
Nevermourn Fit offers an alternative for those who prefer to select from the House’s named fit references. Both approaches are made to order, while selected Vestiary designs may also be available as finished, ready-to-wear garments.
Bespoke is a separate service for original or substantially customized designs, with pricing, timing, and fitting requirements agreed upon in advance.

Fit, not size.
Bodies are not standard, and clothing should not expect them to be. Nevermourn Fit offers named fit references defined by measurements. Each provides a starting point for choosing the garment proportions that suit you.
Made to Measure is recommended when you want a garment fitted to your individual measurements and proportions, at no additional charge. Nevermourn Fit is an alternative for those who prefer to select a fit from the measurement chart.
Nevermourn Fits are named from the language of textiles and dressmaking—a reminder that the label belongs to the garment, not the body wearing it.

For designs offered through Made to Measure, the garment can be shaped to your individual measurements at no additional charge.

The process
The work depends on the garment and the route chosen. Signature, Vestiary, and Limited Collection garments begin with an existing design; Bespoke may involve original design and pattern development. Measurement and fitting requirements are established for each project before work begins. Nevermourn Fit uses the selected fit pattern.

Made to Measure begins with your individual measurements and proportions. Nevermourn Fit uses the measurements of the selected fit pattern. Bespoke measurement needs are established for the project.
Pattern Development
Signature, Vestiary, and Limited Collection garments are developed from an existing Nevermourn design. Bespoke pattern development follows the agreed project scope.
Fitting
When needed, one or more fittings allow the silhouette, balance, ease, and proportions to be refined before final construction.
Construction
The garment is cut and constructed with attention to fabric, structure, durability, comfort, and finish—including the details that may never be seen from the outside.
Final Fit
Final fit assessment and any finishing adjustments follow the requirements agreed for the garment and chosen fit route.
Designed for real bodies
No two people carry their proportions in quite the same way. Height, posture, shoulder shape, torso length, and the way we move all influence how a garment fits. Made to Measure allows these individual differences to inform the garment, rather than asking the wearer to accommodate a standard measurement reference.

How would you like to take your measurements?
When ordering Made to Measure, you can choose the approach that works best for you: an in-person appointment in Loveland, complimentary live video guidance, or self-measurement using the Nevermourn guide. Nevermourn Fit requires no measurement appointment; its named fit references are defined in the fit chart. Ordering is currently closed. On video, I guide tape placement and posture in real time to support measurement accuracy and fit. Video measurement assistance does not include design customization.
An in-person measurement appointment requires a $50 booking deposit, credited in full toward a garment order. Clients who have already paid for their garment are not charged a separate measurement deposit. For more information about measurement options and garment adjustments, visit our FAQ.
