Some places exist long before their doors are opened.
Nevermourn began as such a place.
A House held in imagination, gathering shape through years of ideas, influences, and possibilities. A place where romance and mystery could coexist with the ordinary rituals of everyday life.
Now, that imagined world is becoming tangible.
Through garments made to be worn, objects made to be kept, and details that reward closer examination, Nevermourn is taking form—one carefully considered creation at a time.
Nevermourn is an independent studio in Loveland, Colorado, creating ready-to-wear and made-to-measure clothing and thoughtful objects for everyday life.
Historical dress, mourning imagery, poetry, ritual, and alternative subculture are among the influences that shape Nevermourn. They find expression in silhouette, materials, and details that reveal themselves gradually, rather than through literal interpretation.
Clothing and objects can carry memory, mark a transition, or become part of the quiet rituals of everyday life. These possibilities are as important to the work as the forms themselves.
About the maker
I learned to sew from my Nonna when I was very young. Over time, sewing became as natural to me as speaking or walking—a way of making, solving problems, and turning an idea into something tangible.
Years of self-directed practice eventually led me to earn a degree in made-to-measure fashion design, where I refined my skills in pattern drafting, fitting, and garment construction. That experience continues to shape my approach to clothing. I begin with the person who will wear it, considering their proportions, movement, and comfort alongside the design itself.

Why Nevermourn?
Nevermourn grew from something I had been searching for myself: a subtler expression of the darkness and romance I loved, not only in clothing, but in the objects that surround everyday life.
I wanted beautiful materials, strong silhouettes, and thoughtful details in garments that could belong to an ordinary day and be worn for years. I wanted that same sensibility in my home—in objects for personal rituals, familiar routines, and the simple pleasure of living among beautiful things. Pieces that could be dark, romantic, even macabre, expressed through materials, form, and detail rather than familiar imagery.
The name came first because it simply felt right for the House I imagined: dark, romantic, and enduring. It also called to mind the gothic poetry I had loved since childhood, particularly Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven, a favorite of mine since middle school.
Over time, I found another meaning in the words themselves. Never mourn is not a rejection of grief, but an invitation to consider what remains. The people, places, and things we love continue to shape us through memory, ritual, and the ways we carry them forward.
Nothing we love is permanent. But change and loss do not erase what was beautiful or meaningful. I carry that belief into my work, creating garments and objects intended to be used, cared for, repaired when possible, and kept as part of a life.

Materials are chosen with intention.
Materials are chosen with attention to their character, performance, and longevity. Natural fibers are preferred wherever practical, alongside thoughtfully selected deadstock, vintage, recycled, and blended textiles when they serve the design.
Making to order helps reduce unnecessary production, while careful construction and considered finishes support years of use. Repair and maintenance are encouraged as part of a garment or object’s life, rather than an afterthought. The aim is not to make things that remain untouched, but things that become part of everyday living—and are worth caring for.

Thoughtfully crafted. Made to be lived in. Kept beyond the season.
